- Students performed an English version of Momotaro in front of parents and teachers.
-
High School Students: Shared cultural lessons and practical skills, including Japanese language, dance, and digital literacy.
-
Community & Project Engagement: Observed government- and UNHCR/FAO-led projects, collaborating with NGO Cuscambia to understand local histories, challenges, and community initiatives.
-
Donations & Resources:
- Elementary schools received projectors and two TVs.
- High school students received gently used clothing, 200 bars of soap, and an internet router with one year of connectivity.

Infrastructure gaps: Many schools still lack adequate technology and learning resources.
-
Educational needs: Continued demand for English, digital literacy, and cultural programs.
-
Community context: Understanding local history, culture, and social factors is essential to effective support.
-
Health & hygiene: Sanitation facilities and hygiene awareness remain insufficient.
-
Resource impact: Donations of technology, hygiene items, and educational materials make a tangible difference.
-
Youth potential: Despite challenges, children show motivation, resilience, and eagerness to learn.
